The Elgar Festival using my images from previous festivals to promote events at the 2026 festival. The availability of images showing the same event from previous years showing potential audience members exactly what to expect.

Rogers Theatre in Malvern College was the venue of the first event of the 2026 festival with a number of players joining Joe Davies, Assistant Conductor, English Symphony Orchestra for a full day of playing in an orchestra.

Alexis performed a recital of songs today in Worcester Cathedral accompanied by Nicholas Freestone on the piano. A large audience appreciated the quality of singing from Alexis who is a Lay Clerk at the Cathedral.

A packed out Great Malvern Priory saw the Jenny Lind singers perform songs conducted by Lynne Lindner, accompanied by Tim on piano and harpist Anwen Mai Thomas.

A magical night of music at our season-opening concert at Worcester Cathedral last night. Three choral gems by Duruflé, Haydn & Boulanger, plus the privilege of hearing Elgar's Enigma Variations performed by the superb Meridian Sinfonia symphony orchestra. The Hereford Choral Society last night performed Verdi's Requiem. Conductor Geraint Bowen was joined by soloists Rebecca Hardwick, David Ireland, Rachel Roper - Mezzo Soprano and Ruairi Bowen and musically accompanied by Orchestra De Cymru.

Privileged to take photos of the BBC National Orchestra of Wales last night in Cheltenham Town Hall as the Gala Concert of Cheltenham Festivals. Gergely Madaras conducted pieces from Benjamin Britten, Malcolm Arnold, Edward Elgar and Anna Semple who appeared on stage.

Taking photos of soloists during a concert is a hit and miss affair when you don't know when the soloist is going to perform. Let's take the concert in Gloucester Cathedral last weekend as an example. Dame Sarah Connolly was singing' who I have never photographed previously at the end of the first half but I didn't know when exactly so instead of having my 400mm lens with me I left it behind while getting some wide shots of the choir. So I only had the 70-210mm lens with me.
