"I wanted to ask whether you happened to be available this Saturday, 9th May, for a concert I am conducting at Bath Abbey with two of my choirs, The Malmesbury Singers and The Athenaeum Singers, who are joining forces to perform Sir Edward Elgar’s ‘The Dream of Gerontius’.
We will be accompanied by Bath Philharmonia, with three soloists: Andrew Kennedy, William Stevens and Olivia Jane Gomez. "
Thomas Mottershead's email on the 6 May inviting me to photograph a special concert on 9 May in Bath Abbey. Plenty of notice !!
Normally the concerts are held in large churches or Malmesbury Abbey so he wanted to ensure this special event was recorded.
This concert and rehearsal would come after photographing the first event for the Elgar Festival. Come and Play was held in Malvern College in the morning.
So a very busy day on saturday and then most of Sunday processing the images!
