Three Choirs Festival
At more than 300 years old, the Three Choirs Festival is the longest running, non-competitive classical music event in the world; and rotates between the three, historic Cathedral cities of Hereford, Gloucester and Worcester.
Through Michael’s photography work with Festival participant Worcester Festival Choral Society, he became the official Three Choirs Festival photographer in 2017,2018,2019 and 2021, expertly capturing the excitement of up to 70 individual, live events in each music-packed week.
From large-scale, Cathedral-based classical performances featuring hundreds of singers and musicians, to more intimate plays, workshops, recitals, jazz sessions and outdoor events, Michael’s photographs and energetic, yet unobtrusive creative approach has helped to promote the Three Choirs Festival magic in the media, online and on marketing materials both at home and across the world.
