Worcester Choral - Duruflé, Haydn & Boulanger
A magical night of music at our season-opening concert at Worcester Cathedral last night. Three choral gems by Duruflé, Haydn & Boulanger, plus the privilege of hearing Elgar's Enigma Variations performed by the superb Meridian Sinfonia symphony orchestra. Heartfelt thanks to our appreciative audience, accomplished WFCS chorus, wonderful soloists Alexis Hutchinson Alto and Charne Rochford, and to our peerless, beloved conductor Samuel Hudson.

Postcards from Worcester Cathedral book
I have recently been undertaking the creation of a book for St Davids Cathedral highlighting all the interesting aspects of the building and contents. It occurred to me that I already had the same image content for Worcester Cathedral due to me supplying them with photo products for the last 8 years. So this week I delivered my new book to Helen in the cathedral shop. And after Postcards from Shropshire is completed I intend visiting Hereford Cathedral and Gloucester Cathedra

Grace Shepherd in Worcester Cathedral
Alongside her professional work, Grace is completing a Master of Studies in Music at the University of Oxford. As well as performance, this is enabling her to do further research into the relationship between music and neurology, an area of particular interest. Grace is extremely grateful to the Elmley Foundation and the Kathleen Trust for their generous support towards her Oxford studies. Programme: Niccolò Paganini - Cantabile in D major Josef Rheinberger - Suite for Violin
