Rogers Theatre in Malvern College was the venue of the first event of the 2026 festival with a number of players joining Joe Davies, Assistant Conductor, English Symphony Orchestra for a full day of playing in an orchestra.

I was recently booked to photograph the Bach Choir and London Youth Choir perform St Matthews Passion by JS Bach in the Royal Festival Hall in London. This would involve 7 hours of driving, a 2am start to make sure I could get through the heart of London and find parking and an emission charge of £21 for just being there! A full Gloucester Cathedral saw Christmas start off with a bang as Gloucester Choral Society performed Handel Messiah. Adrian Partington conducted the La Serenissima Orchestra and soloists Bethan Evans, Tom Lilburn, Greg Tassell & Aiden Smith.

Privileged to take photos of the BBC National Orchestra of Wales last night in Cheltenham Town Hall as the Gala Concert of Cheltenham Festivals. Gergely Madaras conducted pieces from Benjamin Britten, Malcolm Arnold, Edward Elgar and Anna Semple who appeared on stage.
